Here we go again...same old sh** again

Sorry if I offend anyone's sensitivities but...we're marching again. Dave's unit was put on alert as of last Tuesday (1/25/08). Does this mean it's "for sure?" Who knows? It still puts us in a spin...my mind is working 100 miles per hour (that's fast for me) and since we have done deployment before, I have a lot of things I want done prior to the "alleged" date. This time, we have Dave's mom at her own home, fragile to say the least. Dave's sister just lost her husband and is located in New Mexico. Her life has been turned upside down this past week too. Thank goodness Laura is home with me. She really stuck by me the last 2 times Dave was deployed and wouldn't leave me home alone :) Ranger is the most wonderful dog and companion and now we have Maggie, Laura's MinPin, who is so very sweet to have around...2 lbs of sweet and 2lbs of TROUBLE! Mike and Carrie are married and live in Readlyn in their OWN home and is somewhere I can really go to retreat and have fun. I think I can even talk Mike into cooking breakfast for me sometime...he makes yummy stuff (Mikey, I want some waffles next time!). I have recordings of Dave's music to help me when I need to really hear him, plus there are webcams now and email of course.
